Tavistock Trout Fishery,Parkwood road,Tavistock,PL19 9JW,.This venue is one of Devon’s top premier trout fishing venues.It has five fly fishing lakes including a junior lake where any fishing method except live bait is allowed.There is an onsite tackle shop where tackle hire also available.This venue also has good wheelchair access and a fishing lodge and hot and cold food can be ordered and delivered to the fishery daily.The record rainbow trout caught here is a cracking 31lb 11 oz in 2003, the record brown trout is 12lb 11oz. We will prepare and pack you trout to cook or freeze. You will also experience a working trout farm where you can learn about the farming cycle of the fish and it's environment. Smoked trout available from our farm shop. The fly fishing lake is 5 acres and stocked with premium rainbow trout from 2.5lb up to 20lb+. Blakewell is open every day.
