This fly as been a very successful trout fly for well over a century on both rivers and lakes. The Teal Blue and Silver Fly is best employed where trout are feeding on fry. This fly is also perhaps the most successful and best known sea trout fly. The vivid colours of the Teal Blue and Silver Fly makes it particularly useful when the water is coloured. I recommend always fishing the Teal Blue and Silver Fly on the point. This trout fly is an exceptional small fish imitator especially when used on lakes. |
